If this page looks familiar it's because it was inspired by one of my favorite comic-book pages from a really well-known graphic novel. Also, the comic will update every Friday from now on :D
That was awesome.
It reminded me of Hephaestus in a modern comic I once read. He was like the molecule man and could rearrange any substance and turn it into any kind of building or tool he thought of...
The comic was about how the survivors of a crashed space ship somehow inherited all the powers of the ancient Greek Gods...
Dang! That sounds pretty cool! Let me know if you remember the name of the comic and I’ll check it out!
Tbh I was going for a bit of homage to Dr. Manhattan, when he builds his giant, glass castle in mars. The thing is, Stuart is starting to see Frederic as this sort-of all-powerful God, which he’s not 😆
I can't even fathom (*almost a pun there*) the amount of imagination one would need to have to construct an entire city with no blue prints o_O
I haven't the ability even to do math without writing it down XD (I am less cerebral and more physical XD)
😁I know what you’re saying. The original captions were an explanation of how Frederic still remembered some architectural books he had read in his youth, so he tried to copy them as closely as he could. I didn’t like the captions, so I replaced them! 😆
Man, I'm really interested to see where this is going!
He's erecting this mausoleum almost in the same fashion as the Taj Mahal (I mean, an homage, not like in the physical look of it.) But at the same time, he doesn't seem too choked up about her death...so it's interesting to figure out what Frederic's deal is!
And who will be visiting this underground city? Hm...
Hahah. Yeah, things will get a bit religious in the next chapters 😋Hopefully everyone is cool with it
I think most mature audiences can handle religion in a story, regardless of their personal beliefs ;)
