I hope that you're enjoying the comicbook retelling of the world's most ancient tale.

"He took the plant, though it pricked his hand, and cut the heavy stones from his feet,
letting the waves throw him onto its shores.Gilgamesh spoke to Urshanabi, the ferryman, saying:'Urshanabi, this plant is a plant against decay'

[...] The plant's name is'The Old Man Becomes a Young Man.'

[...] the serpent sensed the sweetness of the flower. It rose out of the water and snatched it away, and immediately it sloughed its skin and returned to the well" (The Epic of Gilgamesh)

So beautiful! Now I want to read Gilgamesh (why haven't I yet? Too many things to read!)

I love how the art and the poetry compliment each other. The words themselves paint beautiful pictures, tells a story, and the art with the framing and the lovely color combos really makes this comic so easy to read! I really mean that. I feel like this could get published (but, who am I to say anything? I don't know much about the industry.)

Thanks a lot! If everything goes well I think we’ll go ahead and see if we can self-publish this comic. That seems to be the future of the industry, so might as well give it a shot 😁🙏
