And so the prologue is done and here we are. It has been 14 weeks since I posted the first comicbook page, and 14 weeks since I last held my father's hand in the hospital and watched him pass away from this life into the next. Alas, just like Frederick, there is nothing in the world I could do to bring back the people I love and, feeling like a living deadman, I am left to wander around and mourn like everyone has always done before me, and will continue to do after me. With that being said, I am really grateful to those who continue to read the comic. This comic is a labor of love on the part of the amazing artist David T. Cabrera, the great Letterer/ Editor HdE and myself.

Who would've thunk that writing comics could be so therapeutic?

Thanks for reading and see you on the next chapter!

Comicfury is one of the only places where I actually get to interact with people. Otherwise, my neighbors won't even talk to me or each other. It is like we are all living in a giant prison ruled by fear and paranoia. Comicfury helps me to satisfy that basic human need of feeling like I belong to part of something, in this case, a group of friendly and talented artists and writers.

I know what you mean since I’m a bit of a recluse myself. But, in any case, it seems that I’ve been neglecting the comicsfury community. I think I’ll try to hit the forums and see how it goes. Everyone is soooo nice over here! 😁
